NOTD: Ciate - My Fair Lady

Hey,

I'm really sorry about not being on the past few days as I've been on holiday, and spent way too much as you do.

I'll show you a piccy of the bed we had, I literally could have stayed forever in the room we had, I'll nab some more pics off the boyfriends camera, but when we got there we had champagne and choccies waiting for us which was lovely and even a TV in the bathroom so I could sadly watch a bit of Come Dine with Me while having a bath (sad I know).

I thought I'd do a little post of my nails of the day as I got hold of my first Ciate products before I went on holiday. The colours I have are: 'My Fair Lady' and 'Wait Until Dark'. If you are a reader of Marie Claire you may notice that you also have these colours as they came free with the magazine, I had heard a lot of good things about these so wanted to try them out for myself and I figured the price of Marie Claire in comparison to the price of the bottles it was cheaper to get the two magazines.

The colour I am currently wearing is 'My Fair Lady' and I am very impressed with this at the moment, I put this on Thursday night to wear while on holiday and my nails haven't chipped at all, they look as good as new and still shiny. I couldn't believe it when they didn't budge as I somehow got something like dried toothpaste on the one nail and I was scratching and scratching to get it off and it didn't affect my polish.

These polishes retail at £9 off their website www.ciate.co.uk and for the price I'd definitely say it's worth it because some polishes I get where I pay around £3-5 for them chip quite easily, and I have a feeling this will last a while.

For me this is a great nude colour as I'd been after this sort of colour for ages, it's simple but very cute.

The only bad thing I can possibly say about this is that it did take about 3 coats before I got any colour with it, but hey that doesn't bother me too much as long as I give it enough time to dry.

That's it for my little review on Ciate, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'd planning to get some UD Naked Palette looks up tomorrow as I've been asked to do some, along with a review of the anniversary palette.

I'm going to try and get a haul up sometime in the week of the lovely stuff I got while on holiday, and show where all my savings went on (I'm now scared to see my savings account).

So yeah that's what I'll try and get up this week, and have you guys tried out Ciate and what do you think of them?

PS. I just want to say how horrific these riots are, especially as one hit Birmingham last night which is close to wear I live. I don't know how people can do this to the places where they live it's disturbing. Many shops were broken into and looted, cars turned over and buildings broken into and burnt. My thought go out to anyone who was trapped due to last nights actions and the police who are trying to keep control of the situation. I'm also thankful to those who are today trying to help tidy the city up. What is this country coming to?
