August Favourites

So I figured I'd do my first monthly favourites post, showing you guys the products I've been loving over the past month.

First, I can't believe how quickly Augusts passed us by and summers officially over, which means that uni is due to start again in a few weeks.

Anyways onto my favourites:

Going from left to right:

Batiste Dry Shampoo: XXL Volume

Now I love Batistes dry shampoo and this is no exception, this product claims to boost body and get rid of oily roots. For someone who has quite thin hair I was a little skeptical but it really does, bulking my hair out. With this being the latest addition to the Batiste family I love the new design and size along with the smell of the product, I've had a couple which the smell goes a bit funky but this is lovely.

Mac Mineralised Skinfinish Natural - Light

I've loved this not only during the month but the summer and have found that when its been warm and my skins been oil prone this has took care of this, no oily t-zone for me. I find it lasts ages as well which is great and I'm not touching up during the day, I'll be using this through the winter months as it's that great.

Benefit Sugarbomb

This is one of my all time favourite blushers, I was undecided when buying this as to whether I got this or Bella Bamba (which I'll eventually buy) but I'm happy that I got this. You can either create a look using all four colours or just one so I love it for that. I find this gives me a lovely natural glow which is great with my pale skin. This does also come with a brush which is good as some don't, so if you don't have a blush brush this would work for you. As for me I prefer to apply this with my Sigma brush. Lovely blusher.

Astral Moisturiser

Two words to sum this product up: cheap and brilliant. I simply love this, the consistency of this moisturiser is really thick so you know that you don't need much when it comes to applying, but when you do you can feel the product sinking in. I've been using this for the past month and found that it does hydrate my skin and help it feel fresh.

E.L.F Stipple Brush

Another cheap but brill product, the brush isn't very dense so it's not the best brush to use when it comes to applying foundation but when it comes to applying cream blusher the brush is my favourite, as you can see it's quite orange from it. What I like about it though is after applying the blush it gives a nice natural glow instead of looking orange which would never be good. My favourite brush for cream blushers.

MyFace Foundation - Fair 01

Before trying this I had heard lots of rave reviews about it so I figured for £12 why not? After using it this has to be one of my favourite drugstore foundations, I love the colours available instead of it being shades or numbers they combine these giving different shade options and then numbers. This product could really rival some higher end products in my opinion, great cheaper alternative.

Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara

This would have to be my favourite drugstore mascara, I love the look that this mascara gives, allowing you to create two different looks. This is one of those mascaras that won't rub off as soon as you rub your eyes as I have come across mascaras that do this, super annoying. The length application gives a lovely natural look which can then be built up with the second applicator. The reason I have said first and second brush is that if you do separate the two sticks they aren't two brushes just the one, but it still gives two different looks.

Mac Speed Dial Cremesheen

This has to be one of my favourite colours from Mac, this can really be worn for any look. The lasting power of this is great but you kinda expect that with Mac. This glides on easily and I only need to apply a couple of coats to give me a lovely colour. Another thing I love about this is the smell it just makes me love the lipstick more. This is one of those colours that I'll be taking into the Autumn with me.

Ciate - My Fair Lady

I got this colour with my copy of Marie Clare and I adore this colour, this is like the perfect nude colour for me. The staying power and shine is great, I found after a couple of weeks wear it hadn't chipped and still looked great. The design of the bottles are lovely, the little bows really add to the bottle. This is a colour that I'll be repurchasing in the future.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Of course the infamous Naked Palette had to be added to this list, I'm not going to go on much about this because if you read my review on it you know I love it. You can create so many different looks from this and I have to say I've been using it minimum 4 days a week so its been used that much. Another product that can be used going into Autumn (and all year round).

Anyways I hope you enjoyed this with it being my first, and just interested in what your favourite products of the month have been?
