Burberry Body Fragrance Review

Freebies are always great, and when this little gem was popped through my letterbox I was pleasantly surprised.

Burberry are currently having a sample promotion via their Facebook page where you can request a sample to be sent to you. What I love about this is that it's not one of those peel back samples or small plain bottles, it's a lovely mini version of the full sized bottle. The sample you get is 4.5ml and comes with cute packaging making it great to pop into your handbag or purse.

It's been noted as the most exciting launch that has ever been created capturing the iconic spirit of the brand today in a striking and sensual way.

Burberry have described the perfume as a: luxury chypre - fruity composition that begins with notes of fresh green absinthe, peach and freesia. Roses and iris are in the heart, leaning on the base of sandalwood, cashmerean, musk, amber and vanilla.

Fronting the new campaign is Transformers 3 star Rosie Huntington-Whitely who is one of those actresses on paper I didn't like but got to like her after watching the new Transformers and love her in the ads for this.

This scent is definitely what I expect from Burberry after having a couple of bottles of their older fragrances. I think this really does embody femininity and sexuality, and you don't need much of the stuff on as it's very strong.

Just on smelling the perfume you get hints of a sensual fragrance that would be perfect to wear on nights out.

I really like the bottle design of this, the bullet shape is really cute and seems sophisticated and expensive which is always great in a bottle.

For me this is not an everyday perfume as I'm more a sweet floral kind of perfume girl, but I would definitely consider wearing this on the night as I see it as more of a 'grown up' smell compared to some of sweeter ones on the market if you get what I mean.

I really love this smell, however a 35ml bottle of this costs £45 which is a bit pricey for me as I'm currently saving for a new car and I've got quite a few perfumes I need to get through before buying new.

Have you guys got your hands on this sample yet?
