If you are a fan of Benefit Cosmetics you will no doubt own at least one of their popular boxed blushers. Personally I adore these blushers and own about 5 of them, so when I heard that they were introducing lipglosses to accompany the blushers I couldn't wait. Now I actually got one while I was in America, but when they released the High Flyin' Glosses set I knew I wanted to get it so I could try the other shades out, and talk about being so cute.
How cute is the packaging also? I think that is one of the reasons Benefit stand out as much as they do, purely because their packaging draws you in. I got this set for Xmas and have only recently been playing around with the glosses. Now normally I don't always reach for lipglosses, purely because if I'm in a rush I don't tend to pop one in my bag and are a very bad girly and sometimes leave applying my lipstick until I am in the car stuck in traffic - never good.
Onto the set, so you get all six of the glosses in a mini 6.5ml form. You may think this is quite a small amount to receive but I do see this set lasting a little while depending on how many times you choose to wear them. In the set you receive:
I wasn't sure when I got this gift whether I'd actually like all the colours in the set, however when I first swatched them I knew instantly I would and have expressed to my mom that I will soon be re-purchasing the full sizes of them all.
What is great about these lipglosses is the fact that once applied they are not overly sticky, something you can often find with a gloss. Instead they are very soft and moisturising to the lips, and apply very easily. I love the colour range within the set, you can go from Dallas and Bella Bamba shades that I'd wear on their own for a boost of colour to Hoola and Dandelion which are great for just a subtle glow to the lips or to add shine over a lipstick. They add just the right amount of shine to my lips, and think these are perfect for both day and evening looks.
I do feel that if you look at each individual shade you can instantly name the blusher it accompanies, and cannot wait to combine the both in looks. The packaging is how you'd expect and is super cute, and being the sad person that I am, really want to team them with their matching blusher.
I really cannot fault this set, like I have already mentioned I will be buying the full size glosses of these once I finish the smaller ones. Quality of the glosses is fab, and would you expect anything less from Benefit when they have based these off their best selling blushers?
This set retailed (not sure if you can still get it) for £19.50 which means that the glosses are just over £3 each.
Have you tried any of their glosses from this range?
