Lancome Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Moisturising Cream
We all get into these situations, whether a deadline is looming, our workload has got heavier or a regretted date is fast approaching. Stress, it's something that I find I personally cannot avoid in my life, from education (which I can hopefully say won't cause me anymore stress) to work there are always moments where I get into a panic. I will admit that I am probably the worst person for getting stressed and that can only mean one thing, my skin suffers because of this.
Now last week I had got a really bad breakout and when I say bad I wasn't sure if I had a reaction to a foundation or skin product that I had been using. It actually wasn't until I started using this that I realised that my bad breakout was due to stress meaning that my hormones were all over the place.
I didn't actually know I had this until going through my skincare items and I came across this boxed, I actually received this as a sample at Christmas when I had a freebie set from a mascara purchase. I figured I could lose nothing by trying this out and see if it helped my skin at all, and I am pleased to report that it has done exactly what it says on the tin.
I find that it has really helped calm my skin and reduce the redness that my breakout has caused, when you apply it, the cream is very smooth and soft and glides on effortlessly. I find its thicker creamy consistency means that less is more which is always a good thing considering the cost of this product and doesn't feel heavy on your face. Your skin feels instantly hydrated and looks and feels great once absorbed. As this moisturiser aims to hydrate the skin, I was a bit worried how this would handle on my oily skin, but found that it didn't make it worse and actually left it softer.
This is on the pricer side of £38 which I have personally never spent on skincare, however I am seriously considering buying the full sized tub when my little sample has ran out purely because it has worked wonders on my skin.
