Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in Nude

Lately my skin has been in bad condition, I've been suffering from some bad stress related breakouts and I thought that by wacking my double wear on would help in the long run I though I'd try a different approach of covering my skin up but with something a little more breathable. I forgot that I had this sample lying around in my room so thought I'd give it a whirl before going to Chester as I can have a cheeky shop in Space NK.

I wasn't too sure about using this at first because believe it or not I haven't tried tinted moisturisers before, I've always gone for BB creams when it's come to lightweight alternatives to foundations. However all my concerns about tinted moisturisers evaporated after using this, it applied seamlessly and sinks in really quickly. I've noticed also it doesn't streak when applied and leaves skin looking fresh and hydrated.

In terms of coverage, I'm not going to lie and say it cleared all my blemishes but it did even out my skin tone distorting some of the redness. If you do need the additional coverage than you will probably have to pop a bit of concealer on your problem areas. But I am hoping that this will help with the healing process on my skin, by leaving it a little naked.

I do love the lightweight consistency of this product, it definitely gives the 'no-makeup' look as I gave my face a closer inspection and couldn't tell I had stuff applied which is a big bonus. I think this is perfect for the summer for the fresh faced natural look. A big bonus for me is that this comes with an SPF 20 which makes it perfect for everyday use, to ensure that your skin is protected against UV rays and all that jazz.

The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser comes in 12 colours and I got nude, but when I go I might out of curiosity have a look at Porcelain as I normally go for the lightest shades available. The moisturiser comes in on the expensive side of £33, which I would normally pay for foundations not moisturisers but it is worth the money in my opinion. You don't have to apply a lot so you will get your moneys worth and will probably last a while.

Have you tried tinted moisturisers before? If so what is your favourite?
