Soap and Glory Hand Food

Soap and Glory Hand Food

I will be the first to admit that I am a little late to the Soap and Glory party, but hey better late than never I suppose. Now I have always looked at Soap and Glory products, due to their gorgeous vintage packaging but never actually gone all out and tried their products until I got the big Christmas set last year.

Despite it's quirky name, I am a fully fledged fan of their Hand Food Hand Cream, for me this is probably one of my favourite creams to use, especially in the colder months. I find that this is perfect from the consistency and the hydrating factors in the cream.

I find that the hand cream is the perfect moisturiser and instantly hydrates the skin, which is perfect for dry winter skin. Despite it's thicker consistency the moisturiser absorbs really quickly and doesn't leave your hands sticky afterwards, surprisingly enough the small amount swatched actually is all I need to cover my hands. Talk about a bonus, meaning this tube will last a good while.

I love how this feels when applied on the skin, it feels more luxurious than it's price tag, and who can deny something that smells so good? Soap and Glory state that the Hand Cream is scented with their original pink fragrance which is made up of ingredients which include shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow (talk about yummy), and truthfully the scent just makes me want to rub more into my hands.

Forumla wise like previously mentioned this is on the thicker side, but that's not a bad thing, it sinks into the skin quickly and the formula itself is not greasy. Surprisingly enough the formula is lightweight and leaves your hands feeling really soft and hydrated.

The 125ml bottle is perfect to fit in your bag to take on the go, however you can get a smaller 50ml which is more travel friendly, but the bigger one works out better value for money. I really wish I had jumped on this bandwagon sooner as I have fallen in love with this hand cream, and for £5 a bottle it really is good value for money.

If you want to try Soap and Glory products I would really recommend popping some of their Christmas gifts sets on your wishlists and Boots are offering these on 3 for 2. I had a look the other day and they have some lovely set, some of which include their newer products.

Have you tried Soap and Glory's Hand Food? What are your thoughts?
