One Direction One Moment Perfume
I'm going to let you all in on a little secret, I'm a directioner. So naturally I could not wait to get my hands on One Moment, the debut fragrance from One Direction. Following on from a fan petition on Twitter, the One Direction boys got busy in creating their fragrance and a year on One Moment was created. Inspired by the band, the fragrances mixed a blend of their favourite scent to create a perfume that is both vibrant and playful.
One Moment is described as a sparkling, juicy and feminine fragrance that is made up of splashes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers infused with undertones of warm musk. I was quite surprised at how the scent hasn't fallen in the too young / too sweet category that can sometimes happen with celebrity fragrances. With notes of pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants it's a gorgeous feminine scent that is sweet without being too sickly. The middle notes of this perfume add a hint of playfulness with jasmine petals, fresh freesia and frangipani. This is contrasted by the maturer base notes of creamy musk, sheer woods and white patchouli. Combined this makes a gorgeously scented sweet perfume that is very wearable.
Once I have sprayed this scent a couple of times I find it very sweet, however I don't mind this as I am a fan of sweeter/floral scents. However the one thing that lets this fragrance down is the lasting power, don't get me wrong it's good but that's all I can really say about it. Because it's not too overpowering it lasts for around 4-5 hours which is a shame as it's a lovely fragrance. Saying that it's not the easiest perfume to carry around so if you are after something that lasts a while this could be a little issue.
The bottle design is every inch of femininity, from the pink liquid to the cute silver crown. It does kind of remind me almost of a princess feel, making it aesthetically one of the younger looking perfumes on my dresser. I do like that the bottle has an ornament feel about it, adorned with a pink mesh flower and silver crown. The bottle design definitely hits the spot for their target audience, and the addition of the boys faces on the box are a sure fire way of getting directioners in a flutter.
One aspect of the packaging that got my little fangirl heart explode was the little note from the band enclosed in the box. The note acts as a little thank you card from the band including printed signatures from each of the boys, I love this little addition, it's different yet a lovely touch.
The prices range from £19.99 for the 30ml bottle, £28.50 for the 50ml bottle and £39 for the 100ml bottle. If you are lucky you may still be able to grab the gift set for around £14 instead of the £28.50 price tag. You can also buy the body lotion and wash separately in 150ml bottles for £12 and £14.
