Summer Blushin'

Blusher, blusher, blusher where do I begin? For me this is one of those must have products, it instantly adds colour and perks my face up even on the dullest of days. Especially during the summer, glowing skin is a must for me, and I find that it's time to ditch those darker, plumier blushes and bring out summer corals and golden bronzers to give a gorgeous sun kissed glow whilst sculpting my non-existent cheek bones.

Benefit Bella Bamba is probably my most reached for blush, I have had to get a backup after Benefit chose to discontinue it - WHY BENEFIT WHY! This is my perfect bright pink blush, it not only gives my cheeks a little definition but also a gorgeous natural flush. Laced with shimmering gold undertones this blush gives a 3D effect on the face, which makes it my perfect summer blush!

Benefit Sugarbomb is actually the first blush I ever owned by Benefit, and what I like about this is how it's constructed into four colour segments which can be worn individually or altogether. This blush is any shimmer lovers dream, it not only leaves my skin with a gorgeous natural flush when all the colours are combined, but it highlights my cheeks at the same time. I find that this can double as a highlighter when my skin is a little tan, so this is a great multi-purpose product.

Benefit Dallas was one of my first dabbles into bronzer, what I like about this is that it falls into the rosier side of bronzers meaning that it doesn't look orange or dirty. This gives a gorgeous warm flow which instantly helps to perk your cheeks up. I think that this doesn't get enough recognition when it comes to Benefit boxed blushers, as this is a really unique and beautiful shade. Despite having fair skin, I find that this still works really well, and blends easily to leave a more earthier (easiest way to describe this) shade without being too orange.

MAC Peachykeen is actually one of those shades that lay tucked away and forgotten about, until recently. Peachykeen is a shimmery peachy pink, which once applied on the skin this leaves a radiant peachy glow. This isn't too overpowering so if you are a little heavy handed you can apply with confidence. A lot of people compare this blush to Nars' Orgasm, and I can see why - it's very similar apart from the golden shimmer that is within Orgasm. This is an old favourite, which I'm glad I re-discovered as this is a perfect summer peach blush.

Nars Orgasm is one of those iconic beauty products, which I caved and purchased a little while ago. I'm so glad that I did as I instantly fell in love with this beautiful blusher, this is a stunning peachy-pink which is laced with golden shimmer. Once applied this leaves your cheeks with a warm sheen as it not only adds a pop of colour but a healthy glow at the same time. Similarly to Peachykeen, this isn't too pigmented so you can layer this depending on whether you want a natural of dramatic look.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Bronze 01. Last but not least is the much talked about Matte Radiance Baked Powder, I have mentioned this a few times on my blog so won't go into too much detail. However this is the perfect bronzer for a healthy glow, I like to apply this in '3' motions on either side of my face to perk my skin up. If you do want to venture into bronzer I would definitely recommend this as a great starter!

So there we have it, I hope you liked my choice of summer blushers. I'd love to know what you are sporting on your cheeks this summer!
