So I will admit I have fallen off the blogging bandwagon a little over the past couple of weeks with one thing and another. However my lovelies I am back, and I thought what better way to get back into posting that blogging about the Birmingham July Meet that I attended last weekend, hosted by the lovely Jess and Katrina.
I was really loving forward to the day as this was my first ever blog meet up, so to say I was excited was an understatement. The meet itself was fairly small, which meant that it was a great way to get to know one another and honestly it felt a lot less intimidating. For the first part of the day we went shopping and this meant hitting up Selfridges, the Bullring ect, and honestly we all did very well in not spending a lot - I was on a spending ban at the time, so had to be on my best behaviour.
After our mini shopping spree we all headed to Pizza Hut for a meal, where we were greeted by gift bags bursting at the seam, boomf marshmallows and macaroons (my first time trying them). After the meal Becky who runs the company Harlequin Cosmetics gave us a little chat about the company and the products. Honestly it was lovely to hear about the company, which she runs with her mom and the products were delicious!
I've added a photo of the amazing goody bag which has a whole host of treats! I was amazed at how much effort had gone into these, as the products included are fabulous. The necklace is so cute, and one I will be packing for my hols next week, and as a fan of the Stylfile I was uber excited to see a set included in the bag. I won't go into too much detail as I plan on reviewing quite a few of the products!
Overall I had a brilliant time at the meet up, and has left me eager to attend many more. Thanks again to Jess and Katrina for hosting such a fab meet up and to all the girls who attended - Chloe, Char, Sam, Zoe, Becky, Mish, Jemma, Ellie, Laura and Tasha - who were so lovely, and already looking forward to meeting them again!
Have you attended any meet ups lately? Let me know!
