You may have seen a few Twitter/Instagram Nip + Fab related tweet/snaps last weekend, as Kylie Jenner was in London to promote being the new Brand Ambassador for Nip + fab. I have to admit I was a
little ridiculously excited to be in the same room as Kylie as someone who religiously watches KUWTK I couldn't wait to see what the day had to offer.
This was actually my first experience of the Shepherds Bush Westfield, which I must say I'm in love with and got to meet the lovely Jay and Katy who took me in as a Brummie tourist and allowed me to discover the wonders of GBK!
The event itself was a Q&A with Kylie and Maria Hatzistefanis where Kylie answered a few questions, including skincare, beauty - and yes the subject of her lips came up, and for those who may wonder she actually uses several nude lipsticks so I bet some other lipsticks will be getting the Velvet Teddy love if these shades were to come out and her style. She did note that Kimye were her style icons along with North West, and Khloe has taught her about the importance of wearing SPF on her hands - something I would have never thought about previously.
It's a well known fact that Kylie has commented previously about her love for the Nip + Fab range, including them in her summer skin favourites and beauty must haves. Some of her favourite products include the Nip + Fab Glycolic Cleanser, Scrub Fix, Cleansing pads and Dragon's Blood Fix. Now while I haven't tried the latter I can safely express my love for the Nip + Fab Glycolic range.
My only gripe with the interview was that Kylie lacked a lot of personality, after spending years religiously watching KUWTK and stalking her Instagram I did go with set expectations. I don't know if this is coming down to the fact she could have been shy or just the many years thrust in the spotlight leaving her so media trained to ensure she always says the right things - I don't know.
Overall it was a really lovely day, and the fan girl in me can now say I have been in the same room as Kylie Jenner.
