Rodial is one of those brands that over the past few years I have heard so much about, and have such an amazing range of products - if you haven't tried any I definitely recommend you do. I love that you can also get an insight into the brand and its creator Maria Hatzistefanis, from her lifestyle to the process of her product creation. Her latest project comes in the form of the Mrs Rodial Project: Rodial Art and Design Challenge.
The Rodial Art and Design Challenge is an exciting docu-series that follows Maria Hatzistefanis as she searches for new talent in the halls of Central Saint Martins. The challenge is broken down into 8 episodes, where 25 students have the opportunity to create an exclusive beautiful brush case that will house six of Rodial's best selling makeup brushes.
I really love how they have set the project up with different episodes, it really reminds me of the style of Britain's Next Model and similar reality tv shows - you'll find yourself watching episode after episode straight away - it makes for addictive watching. Episode one: Building an Empire really sets up the back story of Rodial and Maria, and how she wants to build the brand. Including how it has become the global sensation it is today with the likes of Kylie and Kendall Jenner endorsing the brand, and the launch of the flagship store in London's Harvey Nichols. To judge the designs alongside Maria are: Erin O'Conner, Henry Holland, Daniela Rinaldi and Jackie Annesley. All big fans I'm sure you'll agree within the fashion industry, and even having a judging panel like this really reminds me of a styled programme you'd see on BBC3 or Living.
I've included a pic of the winning design above, but got rid of the winners name - no spoilers here!! So you'll have to make your way through the episodes to find out the designers name of this stunning brush holder!
I've included the first episode for you to watch below, but I'd definitely recommend popping over to their YouTube channel so you can catch up with all the episodes.
I'd love to know what you think of the episodes!
